    Practice makes perfect

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love to have blocks during my practice. I can normally touch the floor in my poses but it is really nice to have them when you need to prop yourself up in half pigeon (because your chest doesn't reach the ground yet) or use them to practice moving from a seat into a plank (or vice versa) Blocks are a great addition to any practice, and these are really nice blocks. Plus they are recycled!

    Sturdy and Helpful

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Awesome block, it works well and does what it should. I use this at home when I'm doing yoga. It has nice rounded edges that are comfortable on the hand.

These blocks are exactly what they say they are. I got my own after we were supposed to put our faces on some blocks at the gym and all I could think of was staph infection! I used to be too competitive to use blocks but a recent injury has made me realize how amazing, helpful and therapeutic blocks can be. I really like to do yoga with Adriene in my living room so I got the Hugger Mugger bolster and some blocks and now I have the whole set up. Don't be afraid to love and use your blocks!

It's a solid block that does what you need. If you are new to blocks they are great for aiding in poses in which you otherwise strain to support yourself. I also lie on mine to stretch my back and hips.

    Wife loves the yoga blocks

The ability to keep herself stable when she is doing more strenuous exercises gives her more confidence as she continues to develop better flexibility.

    For every-body!

Yay for recycled materials! These are really sturdy blocks to help modify yoga poses to your body, rather than forcing your body into the poses. Manduka's blocks are nice and firm for support in balancing poses (think half moon etc.), but I prefer a squishier block for restorative yoga props.

On a side note .. I've been practicing yoga for about 2.5 years and have tried several different studios. I can say this is one of the best blocks i have ever seen. IF you are looking for a quality block i would recommend this one.

    Great yoga block

This is a high quality block. I use it for yoga and other exercises and it works great. I have cheaper blocks and you can feel the difference between those and this Manduka. Manduka's block is sturdier and constructed better and will likely last much longer than the cheaper blocks that cost a few bucks less.

    Yoga buddy

This was a great buy. I got two of them in different colors, and I love them both. I used them to reach some postures that I'm still not able to master, and these blocks have proven to be the best allies. They don't get smelly, they don't stain easily, and they have the perfect weight.

    Great Yoga Block

This is Nick's wife. I bought the yoga block for both yoga practice and stretching. My husband injured his back so it is the perfect block for supported bridge. Well made, will use for a long time. Bought in Nave and love it.

    Err.... something.

In light of some seriously taut muscles and a recent re-endeavor back into the world of bendy, twisty yoga I bought two of these - one for my husband and I. We were finding that we needed some assistance in our poses, which good blocks are supposed to do! I have previous experience with Manduka mats and were nothing short of impressed with them which is why I went with the blocks, figuring that the quality would be the same as the mats. And they definitely are! These are rock solid, in a good way. They're dense enough to withstand weekly use (thus far) and the size isn't too generous or too small or too narrow. I had a block from Gaiam before these Manduka blocks (and it went missing, presumably the dog found it which means it met its demise) and I was really displeased with how squishy and tall it was. I bought the fun tri-teal color for myself (ahhh so much fun and spunky!) and the grey for my husband, who now has decided he likes my color more than his. I say tough noogies. The blocks are imprinted with the words "practice on" which is a nice little reminder when you're in the middle of a core work out and staring at the block head on. Five stars for cuteness and effectiveness!

Love my foam block! It is lighter than the traditional cork, but still has a firm support. The edges are all smooth so I like the feel of it in my hand better than other brands. It is great for heart openers and for relieving back pain!

Great blocks for yoga or whatever

These blocks are great. The description describes them perfectly. They're smooth, slip-resistant, and high density, making them very sturdy. My only complaint is that sometimes when walking around my house in dim lighting I sometimes mistake them for my cat. What?
