Awesome ski mountaineering rope!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Purchased this to help get in to craggy couloir entrances/ski on belay in Grand Teton National Park. It's lightweight and not too burdensome to carry, perfect for all ski-mountaineering needs!
Great rope
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This rope handles really nicely, doesn't get twisted or kinked, and has a terrific dry treatment that resists water and drys quickly. I've never found anything that works better than Mammut ropes.
Super skinny, light, AND bomba
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Bought a 70m and have used it once now for some simul climbing.
Trick is to tie into both ends, find the middle mark and have your partner tie in there. - now you have a section of 35 twin ropes to climb all the alpine routes needed! and great for raps and long approaches!
Spectacular
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
These ropes are pretty amazing. Soft, light, supple, and dry, which is great for the snowy alpine ascents. They are extremely light which helps on those long approaches or when you're out on a trip where every pound counts. They have been more durable than I thought since I also have an infinity dry that does feel a little different than these. All in all, I would definitely buy these again, hopefully not any time soon.
Skinny, Light, and Supple

Great Rap cord as well as half rope for those light and fast mission. I have also used it as a tag line with other ropes!
Nice and light

I really like these ropes! They're super light and pack small ( I like to pack everything inside my pack on approaches) They were a little fussy out of the box but after a few rappels they handle great. These are an awesome choice for a light ice/alpine rope. It might be a little unnerving for some to use these on routes that have a lot of rock climbing and sharp edges but so far so good. Also, Ben was super helpful when I was picking these out, thanks again man!
