Decent Harness, but Runs SMALL

Good all around harness, but def ran small. The fit chart was not on point.

Comfy, works well in 99% of applications

Pleasant place to sit while belaying, comfy while climbing, but one of the gear loops is starting to wear quite hard despite not using this harness as much as others. only having the two full size gear loops is fine for sport but I can see it being frustrating if you plan to do anything more than single pitches or trad.

Super light sleek harness

This harness gives me the comfort of taking big whips and light on my hips. Used the Ophir Slide 3 for years and just found a new upgrade. The hard draw loops are way nice for single pitch sport outdoors as I don't have to worry about my draws flying all over the place. The rigid plastic keeps them close to my body allowing for faster clipping even though I'm not that fast. Well good and love Mammut

Back gear loops are shallow and much smaller than advertised

I needed a new trad climbing and route development harness, so I went with this because it looked comfortable, has a fifth smaller rear reinforced haul loop, and looked like it had plenty of space on the gear loops. I don't know if I got a defective one, but the two back gear loops are quite shallow, and it's hard to clip gear to it on the go by feel or while hanging on a rope since the loops are so shallow/small. They are barely usable, but not what I would have hoped for based on the picture which makes the loops look like they hang way down and look large. Also, they seem durable enough, but every harness I've had before this one had thicker gear loops. The rear gear loops on this harness are quite thin comparatively. Other than that, it is fairly comfortable, and I like the lower hard point plastic protector piece. It makes the belay loop run very smoothly in the lower hard point, and I could see the hard points lasting a long time. The belay loop seems burly and has the indicator when it's worn out, so both of those are good things. In addition, the front gear loops have a small thin section that is not reinforced with plastic that is already fraying after one use outside (see picture)!

Beautiful and comfortable harness!

I have been using this harness heavily for a couple weeks now, and with the exception of a couple slight drawbacks I am pretty pleased with it! Definitely an alpine harness, but I initially bought it to replace my current gym harness which is very light and fast, but not quite comfortable or stout enough to hang around in for extended periods of time checking ropes and gear and such. I have since brought it outside a few times to compare it to my Ophir 3 Slide and it hangs right there with, pun intended! It is nice and thick and padded without being too heavy or bulky, with one exception as far as comfort... When the two ends of the waist belt come together as you cinch them they overlap and become a tad bulky with their thick padding, and at some angles while hanging or swinging it can press into your waist uncomfortably, but really not a huge issue. That being said, after the break-in period it's very comfy to climb and work in! I took several decent whips on it in the gym, both intentional and otherwise lol, before taking it outside, and it's like falling on a cloud. Definitely a little more comfortable than the Ophir 3 Slide, although potentially not as rugged. I need some more time in it to consider replacing that workhorse. The only other downside for me would be the gear loops, primarily the smaller rear ones since the new front plastic ones are huuuge lol. They are a little thin and placed mind of far back, and also sit pretty flat against the harness so they can can be a little difficult to find and clip if you don't already have something hanging on them. Like I said initially I know it's an alpine harness and that's the reason for the redesign of the loops, but like the waist belt it's really not a huge issue. Maybe an area for improvement on future models? Until then it will be hanging in my work locker as my day-to-day
