When I Opened the box, I was pleasantly surprised by this Backpack. Material, pockets, weight, color. It all seemed well thought out and built. Laid it on the bed and began to load it up with a days worth of backcountry gear. Then the problem arose? Trying to get to the avi gear was terrible. You to have to open the entire back portion of the pack and then open another pocket inside of that once it flops open. Once opened, it is also very flimsy, which makes putting your shovel blade, handle and probe difficult to put away. Overall, just very inefficient and frustrating. Can?t imagine if you had your board strap on (even in A frame style) how frustrating it would be. Also, the material under the shoulder straps and front of the pack where it rests against your back, seems like it would absorb water on a storm day. Unpacked it and boxed it back up for a return. Thank you BC for great service..
