Safety First
Got this before I took out a new climber. I put it on for them and then ended up leaving it on for myself once I realized it ways almost nothing and there are absolutely no downsides to using it. If you're using the smart properly you don't even notice it. If you using the smart wrong, well..... That's what it's there for!

This took me a minute to understand the mechanics behind how this works, but it's a pretty clever addition to the Smart 2.0 belay device to improve your peace of mind and mitigate some user error. It's quick to install and uninstall. My biggest fear is actually losing it.

Mammut Smart Add-On
The Smarter is an add-on piece to the Smart Belay Device. The Smarter clips to the top of the Smart Device for additional safety in case of misuse. Removable and lightweight coming in at only 8 grams.
