Rope Bag Element

A lot of rope bags come with a single flimsy sling that you can awkwardly approach with. Mammut's Rope Bag Element has two shoulder straps made of packable webbing, so you can wear it like a backpack or pack it away with the rest of your climbing gear. Mammut also added a large, rugged map to protect your rope from dirt when you're belaying.

Simple stellar functionality

Fantastic bang for your buck! Simple but extremely functional. Nice and roomy - I am easily able to fit a 70m rope plus some extra gear into this bag. The cinch closure system makes it easy to get in and out of, and easy to jam in extra gear if you need. The integrated tarp keeps everything clean and organized. If there's one drawback it's that the shoulder straps are a little minimalist, with no padding. If it's fully loaded and you have a long approach, it's not the most comfortable option.

Game Changer

I will not go without a rope burrito again. It is a game changer for setup time and especially switching between routes/ walls

Nice Rope Bag Overall

The bag is of good quality, and I appreciate the tarp to keep the rope off of the bare ground. The large opening makes loading/unloading easy. I will mention that the straps are unpadded, so long treks can become uncomfortable.

Good Basic Rope bag

Packs up well. Used with both a 50 and 70m rope and holds both easily. I just put this in my backpack to carry up.

Does its job well

solid rope bag, standard but does its job well. packs up pretty small for when not in use, wide enough to provide some coverage during rain.

Best rope bag on the market

This bag is hands down the best rope bag there is. It's simple but great. Me and all my friends currently use this bag for the gym and outside and love it due to its light weight, simple design. It's so easy to open the bag and be ready to climb since the rope is already flaked out and ready to go. While climbing the bag acts as a mat to keep your rope clean and off the ground and then when you're ready to go just roll up back up put it on you're back and you're ready to go
