Stay warm. Stay dry. Stay psyched.
Putting a full day in on the mountain requires a jacket that's suited to the task, and the Mammut Women's Robella HS Jacket is ready to crush the steeps, send big lines, and kick-it downtown after another epic day. The jacket is equipped with Mammut's own DRYtech two-layer shell, which puts the stop to any heat-robbing moisture that would try to make you call it a day before the lifts stop spinning. Beneath the jacket's waterproof, breathable shell is 80g synthetic insulation in the body and 60g in the sleeves to promote mobility, without compromising warmth. Features on the jacket include everything you'd expect from a dedicated ski and snowboarding jacket with a fixed powder skirt, detachable hood, underarm vents, and pockets for goggles and ski passes all present.

I love the color, weight, zippers, and detailing of this jacket. It fits well - very tailored for a ski jacket. I am 5'2' and 116 lbs and XS is perfect. I bought the ivory color.
Great Winter Jacket - Two Thumbs Up
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Small
- Height: 5'9"
- Weight: 135lbs
I love this jacket. There isnât much Mammut didnât think about in this design. I am 5â 9â, and have a stone white, size small and it fits perfectly. As a taller person, some jackets are not long enough in the arm length. Not only is this long enough but it also has built in thumb holes which is a huge plus. There are plenty of outside pockets (both lycra and fleece lined) including chest and arm space to hold your gear. As another reviewer said, there is only one inside pocket - and additional one would be nice, but it there is definitely no shortage of pockets. I have found that using the fleece lined pockets for my phone have keep the phone from getting damp from the body heat. Both side pockets are fleece lined. I have been in cold temps and high winds and the jacket is extremely warm. It does have ventilation zips in case you need to cool off. I have been wearing this jacket on hikes in the PNW where there is a lot of rain and the waterproofing is amazing. I stood playing in the mist of a waterfall and was completely dry underneath. There is also a hood that can be left on, folded into its own pocket or detached. If you are looking for a durable and versatile winter coat - this is the one!
Great item, color off
This is a great jacket but if you order the fiji color it looks nothing like the image on backcountry.com-- very misrepresented.
Great jacket, carmine is pink
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: Medium
- Height: 6'1"
- Weight: 160lbs
I really liked this jacket - it's very well made. Medium fit me in width but the arms were a bit short and it was tight around the shoulders. I would have ordered a larger size, but the "carmine" is pink and the blue is out of stock. Imagine 6'1" of pink...
warm and dry
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: Runs large
- Size Bought: XS
- Height: 5'5"
- Weight: 115lbs
I got this jacket fairly recently because I needed something warm and waterproof (and cute of course).
The jacket is nicely waterproof. I've worn it in a blizzard and seen the water bead on it. It kept me nice and dry.
It has the usual assortment of pockets on the sleeve, on the sides, etc... And one on the inside. Another inside pocket would be a good addition.
It also has pit zips for when you're too hot and need some ventilation.
And overall it fits fine. Larger than I expected. With an XS I have plenty of room to wear a couple of thinner layers, my puffy heated vest and even a full puffy for extra warmth on super cold days. And it doesn't make me look massive even with all of those layers on underneath.
It is decently warm but I run cold so for me, not warm enough on its own on the coldest of days. As I mentioned, I layer underneath and then its fine. It does a good job of blocking the wind.
The Fiji color isn't quite what it seems in the picture. It's not as light blue/green as it appears. It's more of a light blue with a bit of a pattern to the fabric. But really cute nonetheless.
