Mammut's Mittellegi Pro HS Hooded Jacket is a safe space, welcome home, and a formidable foe wrapped up into one seamlessly technical jacket. Named after the Mittellegi Ridge of the Eiger, this jacket's inspiration is from the 80 years worth of mountaineering experiences on the iconic peak. Built for the steepest of climbs, unruly storms, and aerobic approaches, this jacket tells stories of FAs, exhausted limbs, and summit smiles as wide as the Eiger itself.
Once you put the jacket through its paces in the high alpine, you'll quickly realize the Gore-Tex Pro shell is reliably waterproof and adequately breathable for those energy-intensive pitches of rock and ice. The brimmed hood is fully adjustable and fits over climbing helmets for added protection from wind and ice as you work your ice tools further up the route. Elastic inserts provide extra mobility as you climb, and the tailored fit is designed in such a way as to promote full mobility whether you're engaged in a bit modern alpinism or traditional mountaineering.
