    Adaptive functionality.

As its name suggests, the Mammut Women's Luina Tour HS Hooded Jacket touts a versatile construction and is designed to withstand snowshoe adventures and backcountry touring alike. More specifically, not only is the Luina's DRYtech material waterproof, soft, and breathable, but it also boasts a stretchy constitution to provide unobstructed mobility—which makes it ideal for aerobic pursuits.

Additionally, the Luina is fashioned with articulated sleeves that enable a full range of motion when on the skin track or prancing after the dogs across a snowy, open meadow. The fully adjustable, helmet-compatible hood and internal cuffs seal out moisture, brisk drafts, and snow, while the removable snowskirt allows you to customize the jacket based on what activity you are pursuing—which ultimately means you're able to go touring in the morning and ice climb in the afternoon. All the meanwhile, the jacket-to-pant interface allows for adaptive protection, so you're able to launch through deep powder without having to worry about snow sneaking up and into your baselayers. And, to top it all off, the Luina features a bevvy of pockets that are designed to accommodate your necessities, ranging from a ski pass to your snacks of choice.

    • DRYtech exterior is waterproof and breathable
    • Material is also stretchy to assure mobility
    • Myriad of pockets keep necessities close at hand
    • Internal wrist gaiters further seal out snow

    Perfect Ski Guiding Jacket

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: S
    • Height: 5'4"
    • Weight: 125lbs

I used this jacket all winter season this year, and I loved it. The longer length ensured that the jacket would always stay under my harness while skiing on glaciers or rappelling into ski lines. The upper chest pocket was perfectly placed for easy access to my cell phone or radio. The lift ticket pass pocket on the left arm was also very convenient. Overall an excellent winter ski jacket.

    Long, Tall

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: XS
    • Height: 5'1"
    • Weight: 102lbs

    I am 5'1" 102 lbs, athletic build.

Likes: I like the color of this jacket, and the exterior and interior pockets that it has. I like the velcro on the wrists to keep snow out.

Dislikes: this is a really long/tall jacket. In the photo I am pointing at my belly button. If you are tall and thing, this jacket could be great for you!

    Nice shell!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    • Fit: True to size

Purchased this for my wife who really, really liked it. The fit was just right, with a little extra room for an insulated mid-layer (we got a small, and she's 5;2", 110 lbs). U

    Great Technical Shell

    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small
    • Height: 5'3"
    • Weight: 125lbs

I love this jacket. It's very comfortable to ski and move in because it is made with a slightly stretchy material. Great hood, pockets, holds up to extreme snowy and windy conditions. The fit is flattering too. I got the size small. I'm about 5'3, 125lbs and it fits with a warm base layer and a down jacket underneath.

    Love the fit and feel

Bought this Jkt for my wife who would not right a review but she love this new ski shell. Fabric is stretchy but is tough and feels like a soft shell but is a hard shell and taped. Inside lining is soft and not scratchy like every other shell we've had. Full assortment of features and pockets are great. Zip out snow skirt, goggle wipe cloth in the inside pocket, pit zips. Most of all she loves the fit and the purple blue combo. Going to buy the pants next. She thinks the fit is true.
