Mammut's Light Removable Airbag 3.0 Backpack combines an ultralight, packable airbag unit with a versatile backpack built for skiing, touring, and full-on ski mountaineering. The airbag takes up very little packing space, and it's removable so you can transfer it to larger or smaller Mammut airbag backpacks. The bright, signal-colored airbag deploys via a carbon cartridge (sold separately) and a height-adjustable handle for customized convenience. The pack itself is suitable for all sorts of backcountry tours whether it's a dawn patrol or daylong mountaineering mission. It has carry systems for skis, snowboards, ice axes, and poles to prepare you for bootpacks and climbs as well as skin tracks.
