Mammut made the Men's La Liste HS Hooded Jacket with big mountains and deep powder in mind. GORE-TEX gives the shell rugged waterproofing fit for snowy weather and post-snowfall pow days, and a C-Knit backer boasts better breathability built for backcountry touring in case you want to hike back up for another round. Ventilation zippers under each sleeve amplify airflow if you get too warm on the ascent. The jacket has a removable powder skirt when the season starts to dry up, and various adjustments at the cuffs, hem, and helmet-compatible hood ensure a secure fit. There are plenty of pockets outside, and the two inside are sized for climbing skins when they freeze over.

Awesome Jacket

The feel of the quality is nice. Compared to other ski jackets, it does have a slimmer fit to the ones I've tried. However, I wear a size medium, and I thought it's a bit big. I would recommend trying the jacket in person if there is a nearby store to get a good sense on how the jacket fits. Otherwise, it is a good jacket if you could get it on sale.
