Fits great actually
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: US 10
- Height: 6'0"
- Weight: 190lbs
I recently ordered these because it was a great deal, I usually write a review after testing out the gear a bit, but this time I felt like I'll write something here, because the only other review here seems to be really misleading. I usually wear a US size 10 for sneakers, and was a bit worried ordering a 10 on this as the other review seems to suggest they run really small. I just put them on, and they fit perfectly, and comfortably, and true to size I would say. They seem really well-made, can't wait to take them out in a hike and update here how they feel then.
Not comfortable, run small
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
- Fit: Runs small
- Size Bought: 12
These shoes have catchy design and I bought them with the intent to use on local family hikes. I ordered size 12 for my 11.5D feet, and the shoes were both a little too small and too narrow. They also were uncomfortable to wear with several pressure points. Some of these could be alleviated after breaking the boots in, but the ones on the achilles tendons from the circular pulling rope loops would probably be there forever. These loops are clearly a design flaw to me. I also didn’t quite understand why these are called hiking shoes. They don’t provide enough support for hiking and in my opinion, do not qualify as approach shoes either. I would say these are lifestyle shoes.
