Gym Workhorse Classic Rope - 9.9mm

Great all around rope

Got sick of dealing with my 70m at the gym and at our short-walled crag, so I went for this. Appeared very high quality from mammut off the bat. Supple for a 9.9, nice and light, gets the job done as my gym and short crag rope. It is a nice color as well. No coiling or heavy wear issues yet after several months. Nothing especially fancy, but exactly what I needed at a great price. Hopefully will last a long time as a workhorse.

Solid Performer

I've been using this rope for a while. Heavy gym usage lots of falls and the rope looks great and performs well. Feeds through a Gri Gri nicely on lead and it hasn't been very twisty. We reverse the rope ends every so often but overall very pleased with the rops.

the gym workhorse classics is one of my favorite ropes for indoor climbing. It's soft and feeds really well with a grigri.

This is kinda my work horse rope I have been using it as a gym and crag rope and it is perfect for the shorter walls

Outstanding Gym Rope

I have this rope in the 30m length. It is perfect for all the gym climbing I've done with it. The short length makes carrying it around the gym incredibly convenient, I don't even need a bag or tarp. The rope has remained untwisted, supple, and very comfortable to clip and belay with. I also really like the peachy / salmon color, it gets lots of compliments. Overall, I certainly recommend it, particularly in a short length, as a bomber gym rope.

Great Feed!

Been using this rope purely as a gym -lead rope, it is awesome! Feeds sooo nicely when lead belaying. It coils up pretty bad when lowering your partner, but this happens to me with almost every new rope I get--- in no way do I think it's an issue with this particular rope, just needs to be used more and softened up. Overall, great rope!

Great Rope

Great no-frills rope for dry most days I'm going to climb. When people ask, "do you climb rain or shine?" I climb mostly shine. And this is perfect. Plus it looks great on sandstone.
