A serious glove for serious fun.

Built for extended and aggressive days on the slopes in all conditions, the Mammut Expert Tour Glove is ready to grip and rip every run with you. A Gore-Tex membrane guarantees that water stays out and that your hand has a chance to breathe.
    • Polyester fleece insert can be worn as an added layer for cold days on the slopes or separately while you de-ice the car windshield
    • Thinsulate insulation keeps your fingers toasty so you aren’t clinging to your poles with icy, numb hands
    • Hook-and-loop closure with a gauntlet helps close off the Expert Tour so that snow doesn’t make it to your hand even if you bury face-first into pow
    • Thanks to 3D thumb construction, you can enjoy full dexterity and movement
    • Item #MAM0383

    Nice Light glove- Not warmest

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

Well made, great feeling....But as others indicated not as warm as others Mammut makes. I use this on warmer days, whether sunny or not , but especially if it is really wet. Think wet snow day at Whistler, you can get soaked and cold, because of the wet. It is not warmest but will keep you dry. Anything below 15-20 degrees F, Mammut's SIAM GTX is better, and then Mammut Stoney is warm and toasty ( not as good of a grip though- slipperier)

    Expensive for pretty cold glove

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've had the Mammut Expert Tour Glove for a year and it's been a mixed experience for me.

It's a compact glove, and with the insert it feels the right amount of tight. I use them to ski and I find that the grip is pretty fantastic and the dexterity (after breaking it in a bit) is great.

However, like the other reviewer mentioned, these aren't the warmest gloves in the world. I've found them (even using the insert) to be much colder than other gloves in my drawer such as the Marmot Ultimate Ski Glove, and my Kincos.

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs large

I bought these hoping they would be the end-all-be-all glove. I ended up returning them because of the fit. Generally, a nice design and pretty well thought-out product. Sadly, the fit was off for me. The other thing is that the fleece liner doesn't have any velcro to help keep it in the right position. When you slide your hand in, the liner will often slide down with your hand. If your hands are a bit wet (messing with boot buckles, etc.) it makes it a bit difficult. Not the end of the world, but just enough, when coupled with the fit, to NOT make it worth my while. That said, if your hand fits the glove well, you'll probably like it. Lastly, I found it to not be the warmest glove in the world.
