Eternity Classic Climbing Rope
Mammut bundled its Eternity Classic Climbing Rope with the Element Rope Bag in this package so you can head outside for some sport climbing glory. The Eternity's low impact-force rating and high fall rating mean you can send routes with it for a long
time. The Eternity is particularly suitable for intermediate climbers
looking for an advantage on steeper crags. Its skinny diameter helps keep it light and supple so you can
challenge yourself on the hardest routes without this rope holding you
back; its 60-meter length is ideal for crag climbing.
The Element Rope Bag is basically one large, rugged mat that you can easily roll up and buckle together, making it one of the simplest rope bags on the market. Its design makes it as compact as the rope itself, meaning you can pack it up and take it on faraway climbs much more easily than most rope bags. The shoulder strap makes it easy for your belay buddy to carry the rope while you haul the rest of the gear to nearby crags for a quick session.

- Q & A
My first rope amd is working well. It hasnât lulled me yet and Iâve taken so good falls indoors and out doors. The bag straps are uncomfortable though.
Supple Work Horse
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Excellent touch, light weight, unkinked after a day of use. I've put in maybe fifty hours in two months on this 9.8 60 m. I'm in southern California and have never lamented the absence of dry treatment. The sheath still looks good though it's got some wear. I've taken a handful of whips but you can't tell when flaking. Middle mark is still clear. I think I'll get another when I retire it. Named her oova. Also the bag is fritin cool. Great design.
Initial impression - Great rope & bag!
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This is our new family warm-weather crag climbing rope. The rope handles nicely and plays well with the various belay devices used by people in our group - tubes, modified tubes and Grigri2. The printed on specs are a nice touch (vs the taped on ones that invariably fall off). Nice colour too! The free rope bag is really handy - just enough substance to be comfortable to carry by itself, but not so bulky you can't throw it in a bigger pack for longer days.
Love This Rope
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Mammut has done a great job on this basic rope. It One of the things i think make this a great rope is the fluidity of the rope in action. normally you would have to get a thinner rope.
I think this rope is the happy medium between mobility and durability.
Another good thing is that the 70 meter packs smaller than my 60 meter. that goes back to that mobility.
