Tweener For Me Sizing Wise
Jacket felt well built, nice features. Unfortunately for me, was in between size wise. Medium fit in the waist but was too tight and constricting in the armpit area. And large had the shoulder and pit room to be able to move my arms comfortably, but then was baggy in the waist. I have always been kind of a 'marge' size wise (tall, wide shoulders but medium in the waist), so this issue might not be common for others. But unfortunately just felt like I would be compromising on fit and so returned.

Great jacket so far
needed a hardshell after my soft shells didn't keep me dry or warm any longer, the crater is cut on the slim Size so be sure to upsize for layering, used it in a snow storm and I didn't feel any wind guests or snow in the jacket, the under arm pit zips help dump the heat when you are on the move in the snow, Velcro cuffs are a nice upgrade from those flimsy ones on most jackets, with good layering I didn't even need a down or insulted mid later in 20°F weather, hood has nice helmet welcome adjustments and is easy to get it set, haven't used jacket in heavy rain so can't comment on how it holds up, but with a waterproof of 28000mm, it should be able to keep up with my pacific Northwest climate, highly impressed with the crater, 3 later gore-tex with great seam seals

Great jacket, but it does run small
It appears to be a bomb-proof jacket. Problem I had is that it runs surprisingly small large. All other Mammut gear fits me in XL, including vests and other jackets, but this one surprised me. I've been losing weight but I'm not so far along to order down a size. Despite that caution, the XL is still too snug in hips. Sad to send it back because it's just what I was looking for.

Solid Jacket Fit A Bit Small
Solid jacket, actually quite like it, though fit runs too small. I'm 6'1 and 195 lb, usually wearing size Large, but this one basically runs out of room for any extra layers, so I have to return it. Otherwise recommend.

versatile and amazing
This jacket suffered through all 2184.75 miles of the Appalachian Trail with me and it loved every second of it. I can't say the same but I'm glad my jacket enjoyed it. It protected me from wind, rain, snow, sleet, mosquitoes, SOBO's, and birds. It performs amazing in all environments. I love the pit zips and the high front pockets so I can still use them with a backpack belt clipped. I would recommend this to anyone.
