This is an excellent shirt. It is great for layering or can be worn alone. It is lightweight and very breathable and doesn't hold on to smells (I wore it three days straight on a spontaneous weekend trip and it didn't stink). It could be worn on cooler summer days, if you are one of those people that like long sleeves, yet provides a good thermal layer under a fleece for the cooler weather. It is a must have for transition times like spring/fall when mid day is hot and nights are cold. It fits me great-I am 5'3" and 125lbs with a pretty stocky frame. A lot of long sleeve tees are not very flattering on me but the neckline on this shirt looks great with broader shoulders. It has plenty of space/stretch for me to feel comfortable wherever I reach. It could be worn on a climb and then straight to dinner. It's a functional nice looking shirt.
