Wrapped around your little finger.

Freeing up real estate in your cockpit can be tricky, particularly in an era when we're loading ourselves with more and more components that need to be within a finger's reach. Opting for clamps that group components together is one option, but minimizing the space they need is another option that we're fond of. The Magura HC Brake Lever Blade is an easy fix for just that, with a short 1-finger lever that can be swapped onto your Magura brakes with ease. This compact lever allows for less space on your bar to be filled, and comfortable one-finger braking that doesn't risk pinching your other digits when you need to grab a fist-full, or rather finger-full of brake.

  • A brake lever for one-finger braking
  • Lightweight and comfortable to grip
  • Reduces risk of pinching your digits under levers
  • Compatible with Magura MT and Trail brakes
  • Minimizes space taken in your cockpit
  • Item #MGR002K

Must have upgrade for Magura brakes

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I have a set of Magura MT Trail brakes, and used them for a while before upgrading the levers to these, and yes, this is an absolute upgrade. Coming from multiple sets of one finger brakes (Shimano XT, SRAM Guide, Hope Evo) the 2 finger levers on the Magura brakes just felt clunky and like I couldn't generate enough power. I swapped these lever blades out (easy to do, just need a hammer and a punch) and what a difference. Ergonomically, much easier to set up, and they genuinely feel like they give the brakes more power because of the changed pivot point of the lever. Would highly recommend as an upgrade to whomever owns a set of Magura MT series brakes.
