    Concorde Express Quickdraws

High-end climbing gearing is rarely priced with high-end dirt bag climbers in mind. But that's no longer the case thanks to the Mad Rock Concorde Express Quickdraw 6-Pack. The aluminum wire gate 'biners and Dyneema dog bones allow these smooth clipping draws to weigh in at a featherlight three ounces each.

    • Warm forged aluminum carabiners provide high strength with a low weight of just over three ounces
    • Strength rated at a burly 26KN along the major axis
    • Wire gates at both ends provide smooth clipping and easy cleaning
    • Dyneema dog bones offer greater strength and lower weight than traditional nylon slings
    • Individually tested and CE and UIAA certified
    • Item #MRC0124

    Great draws and good price

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm finally retiring these after years of use and abuse. Theyre extremely light and pretty durable. I bought them solely because they were cheap, but they get the job done.

    Simple, Light, Reliable

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Used on more than a handful of outings and these have held up great. Lightweight, easy to clip, and look great. Taken a few falls on these and I'm confident in their reliability, and that quality for the price makes these awesome

Sound like a cheap beer can

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Real light tinny crabs, sound like a empty beer can clinking around, not sure how “bomber” they are against other brands.

The little rubber bits on the dogboner slings don’t sit/fit too well. But cheap and light. You fall on them and let me know

    Fantastic

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I just received these quickdraws and have used them once so far. They are light and easy to clip. I'm excited to use these more and more this year

    Solid

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Great quickdraws. The gate isn't too stiff. The biners clip smoothly and work well. I switched the biners before I started using them so that black would go toward the wall for personal preference. For those nervous about not using the "name brand" climbing gear like Black Diamond: these draws work great!

Making My Dirtbag Dreams Come True

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These draws are seriously a bang for your buck. High quality draw a low price. Super light weight which you will appreciate on long routes! Very smooth and a breeze to clip into. Overall great product.

    Awesome Draws

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are awesome draws. They are really responsive and feel quite solid for their size and weight. easily comparable to BD or Petzl products. Plus they look great.
My one dislike is that the Gates are small but that is just a personal thing.

    Awesome quickdraws

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These are my first quickdraws and I am loving them. Great quality for the price and I trust them with any fall. If you get confused about which carabiner is rope side then you can easily switch the carabiners.

    Bang For your Buck

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These quickdraws have performed well. I have taken some 12ft (I weigh 140Lbs) falls on them without any need for concern. This product is perfect for beginners as they are relatively cheap yet are up to the task. Only down side I've noticed is the coloring began rubbing off within the first 10 climbs.

    Great Value Draws

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm just recently getting back into climbing after a few year lapse and realized I needed to refresh my rack. These draws have a great price and a quality feel. The carabiners and dogbone both seem premium and the gates snap closed with a secure feel, I would definitely trust these with a fall.

    Excellent light-weight quickdraw

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've taken plenty of lead falls 6-8 feet above the bolt on these things and trust them completely. Given the thin dogbone, they lay surprisingly flat to the wall.

    Awesome Value Draws

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

We're beginners to outdoor climbing and these are a great addition in the journey to owning all your own climbing gear. It always seems like you might need more and these draws will deliver a sturdy option for the beginner/intermediate climber.

    Great Beginner's Draws

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I got them few years ago when I started lead climbing. Mad Rock Concorde are small, kind of heavy (Concorde carabiner is 40g, by comparison Petzl Djinn is 44g and Wild Country Helium is 34g), rubber stopper isn't durable, but you can't find anything cheaper than Concorde.

My biggest complain is that Mad Rock (for some reason) switched gray and orange carabiners around. Gray carabiner (rope side) wiregate has different contour than orange (bolt side) one. It's barely noticeable, but it's there. Most companies (and by extension, most people) will have colored carabiner on rope side and gray carabiner on bolt side. When you start mixing draws from other brand, you have to watch out for Mad Rock Concorde when you re-rack after completing a pitch and swapping gears.

Beside, by the time I noticed the different color scheme, colored binner already developed nicks that I don't want ropes to run through it.
But if you are just buying this for the first time, definitely switch it around.

    Best Draw for the $$

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is the best deal in quickdraws right now, enough said.

That being said, the wide rope bearing surface and great gate tension on the bent-gate rope end carabiner (silver) keep em feeling great and lasting near forever. Madrock somehow gets their wires tensioned so perfectly.

Get em! maybe get a couple longer bones from another company as well (24cm are awesome!)

    Great price while staying safe

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love these things. The price point alone is a great selling point, but they're light, easy to lip, secure, and they'll catch you in a pinch.
