Why We Like The Training Jersey
Since 2014, MAAP has been producing exemplory cycling apparel that's comfort-focused and durable, but that also blends the Melbourne-based brand's feel for graphic design and fashion. Their balance is between style, durability, performance, and fit, and MAAP works to excel in these areas to produce world class apparel. Their Training Jersey, specifically, is built for comfort and durability, but it's also lightweight and high-stretch so you'll have no trouble finding your ideal riding position. Since this jersey is also constructed with moisture-wicking fabric, temperature control will be a nonissue. Reflective print means you can rest easy knowing you'll be seen day and night.

Pros--1. very sleek euro/race fit that stayed above the waist like a good race fit jersey should. Pockets had a nice amount of support for snacks etc. 2. Maap styling is about as hip as it gets in cycling apparel and this item fits that standard in an understated way. Cons--1. not enough silicone gripper material on the waist band caused the jersey to shift around to my left while riding. This is partially due to me having to wear a 3mm shim under my cleat on my right shoe, which causes my knee to come up higher on each pedal revolution. But none of my other ~6 jerseys shift around like this. 2. Fabric felt thinner/cheaper than I expected; perhaps its just supposed to be "summer weight" but I thought I was getting something that felt like it would stand up to long term use, which this did not.
