Super warmer weather running tights
Great for running
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
I have these in what's called the "multi-pebbles" print which has a print on the front and black on the back. I tried to include a photo where you can see the side of the leg. The print is on the front and then there's a seam that runs down the side of the leg where the legging switches to black. When you pull them out of the box, before you put them on, this part looks strange. But actually when you get them on, the seam down the side of the leg is actually quite flattering.
The waist on these is high. They will come up to your natural, actual waist. I sometimes like this and sometimes not. It's great for feeling like your leggings are securely on and aren't going anywhere. Between the high waist and the waist band which is fairly wide you won't get a muffin top and generally you'll have a sleek line from your waist to your ankle.
The fabric is stretchy as you'd expect but not so much that you feel like the leggings are going to stretch out. They hold their shape really well and fit snugly. The fabric feels more like a lycra than a stretchy cotton. It's also quite thin which is good for warmer weather running.
They are ankle length. I'm 5'5" and with an XS I had a bit of extra fabric at the ankle but very little. I have some leggings that have a bunching of fabric at the bottom and that always bothers me.
And there's a little pocket in the waistband which will hold a couple of small things like a credit card or keys.
Overall I'd say I'm really happy with them. And of course the print is fun!
