It features external carry systems for climbing ropes and ice axes to leave room inside for trad gear, shoes, a harness, hydration reservoir, lunch, and maybe a layer if you packed properly. The unique shoulder straps move with you on the trail, and the back panel removes to double as a bivy mat.
