Cold weather love for your pistons.

If full-length tights aren't your thing, and you're wary of the very idea of embrocation, the Louis Garneau Zip-Leg Warmers 2 are the obvious choice for your winter closet. Featuring a proprietary warming fabric and a stay-put fit, the Zip-Leg Warmers 2 will help you in your conquest of harsh winter weather—the riding is still up to you.

Louis Garneau's Zip-Leg Warmers 2 are made from Garneau's own Heatmaxx fabric. This material uses a fleecy brushed-back inner-lining to insulate and retain body heat. Garneau knows that thermo-regulation is just one part of an effective warmer. For the Zip-Leg Warmers, fit is just as important as function. For an effective fit without twenty minutes of struggle, the warmers use a nine-inch ankle zipper and silicone thigh gripper. For barely-there comfort, flatlock seams have been used throughout the warmer. The Zip-Leg Warmers 2 also feature reflective logos for safer low-light riding.

The Louis Garneau Zip-Leg Warmers 2 are available in sizes X-Small through X-Large, and in the color Black.

I love the LG line, but sadly this did not meet my expectations in a couple of ways. I checked the size chart and measured myself and it said I should be a x-small. I was slightly surprised but then again, it's cycling, not normal clothes so I ordered x-small. When trying them on It was impossible to get the bottom above the calf so there was a bit of flab there from the fabric. The top kept falling down slightly when I went for my morning ride (only 2 times in the 2 hours but it still shouldn't happen. The tags are also extremely long and very annoying, but I hate cutting them because my skin gets irritated much more in a concentrated place.

Below 60F these go on and when it warms up they roll up and go in a pocket. Good fit and materials. I road ride 200 miles a week.

    Worth buying

Like these very much. Until now I only really liked the Assos warmers but wanted some with zippers for MTB. Fabric is good and they stay up without bunching behind the knees.

    My go-to leg warmers now

These fit and feel great. They are just the right weight for cool Fall and Spring days. I have a problem with some leg warmers slipping down my thighs. These stay put, not too tight, not too loose. They are well priced and high quality.

    Looks and Fit Great

Keep your legswarm, stay where they should be, and look great. I was trying to find some warmers that aren't flashy and crazy expensive. These fit the bill.

    Warm enough

At first I thought that I wanted these leg warmers to be warmer, but after the first few minutes of riding your legs warm up enough that you stay warm even in quite chilly riding. Great for fall riding but maybe not warm enough for full on winter riding in snowy climates. As with most legwarmers sometimes they have trouble staying put an fall down, but removing the tags that are right at the elastic line helps with this a lot. The zippered ankles are great because it means that when it warms up in the afternoon they can be taken off over the shoes.
