Setting out to design the best trail shorts possible, the Louis Garneau Women's Zappa Shorts bring adjustable venting, technical fabrics, and integrated padding to your singletrack adventures. DirtMax softshell fabric is pliable and abrasion-resistant, with a DWR finish to repel passing showers and trail muck. Dura-X panels increase durability by withstanding friction. TechFit promotes flexibility for navigating technical trails. Another stand-out feature is the addition of zippered air-intake vents. These side vents feature a reverse-zip closure, maximizing airflow when you're overheating. Adding functional storage, multiple pockets secure cash, keys, energy-boosting nutrition, and other small accessories.
The Zappa's relaxed fit stays true to its trail-riding pedigree, yet its hook-and-loop leg tabs reduce excess bagginess. Perhaps most impressive, the Drytex 2002 liner short features a women-specific Silvercool chamois. This removable liner short swaps with any of Louis Garneau's liner shorts, should you wear these shorts for multiple rides before washing. Its Silvercool chamois keeps you comfortable in the saddle by soaking up excess vibration from jarring trail surfaces. Breathable perforations increase moisture transport, and its antimicrobial treatment ensures lasting freshness.

- Q & A
Just not what was expected?
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
So, I bought these shorts for my wife. Based on the size chart, they should have fit. She even wears this brand so we have a pretty good idea of sizing. When we received them, they were made very well and looked nice on first impression. The first size I bought was a small - according to the chart, the shorts were tight, and the liner, oh my - cut off circulation. I returned them and ordered a medium. Those should fit right? No such luck, these were like putting on a large for the shorts. The liner fit better, but the shorts were just way to big. So, best I can suggest if you are ordering these, order what you think your size is, and another one. Best of luck.
