    Tiny but mighty

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is a great addition to your flying bench for small ties, but I quickly upgraded to Loon's bigger offering for use when tying big streamers. This little light now lives in my glove box with a tube of Loon Knot Sense or Wader Repair and has already saved me a day on the river with repairing my waders and getting me back out on the water.

Great little product to pair with a critical item that all anglers should own as well; Loon Knot Sense or Wader Repair.

    Easy to carry

It's really small and so it packs great. I've used it a million times on the river... Repairing a little hole in the waders and I use it for fly tying all the time. A good little bang-for-your-buck type item.

      Fly tying must

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I use Loon UV Knot Sense ( or UV Wader Repair ( as head cement when I tie flies. This little lamp hardens the adhesive up in no time. Won't tie without it. Obviously it also works well for their intended uses patching holes in waders and making sure that your knots are as tight as they can be.

I've also found it has a bunch of uses outside of fly fishing. I've used it to fix a leak in a keg tap as well as the water jerry in the photo, even used it to seal up a cut on my foot while on a backpacking trip (not necessarily recommended but effective).
