First, the pros: this jacket is incredibly lightweight (I thought the box it came in was empty at first) and warm without being bulky.
Cons: the hood on the coat I received was insane. There was literally no way to keep it on your head-- it had a removable zipper at the back that was about 5 inches long. That was it. There were snaps on the bottom front of the hood-- that if there were something to attach them to on the collar would have helped, but the other half of the snaps were missing. Ridiculous! The hood wouldn't stay on my head in my house, and the slightest breeze would have it flying off your head in a second. I don't know if this coat was defective and truly missing the snaps (photos online don't appear to have snaps, but the hood online looks different than what mine had.)
Additionally, the sleeves had a bit of internal elastic about an inch from the wrist, but it was loose and there was no inner sleeve to form a close fit to your wrist, so cold air or snow would go right up the sleeve.
$400? Absolutely not. This is going back immediately.
