great cozy winter coat

I live in Duluth Minnesota where it gets frigid cold. I wanted a giant coat for cold winter walks. I got this and am very happy. It is very warm. The coat is a little stiff (not as packable as other down coats I've had) but that's fine for this style. The fleece inside the hood is nice and cozy and keeps my head toasty warm and is soft against the scalp - possibly my favorite part about the jacket! The hood has a drawstring to tighten against the elements, too. The 2 way zipper is great. The pockets are fleece-lined - love it. The sleeves are nice and long and have thick cuffs that keep the air out. The fit is very attractive. The color is a lovely wine color. The body is like a shiny heathery wine/black (very subtle) and the shoulder fabric is solid wine color (slightly different than the rest -I didn't realize that from the photos here). It is very classy. I've only worn it out in the 20's and so far it's plenty warm and breaks the wind. I am 5'2", 38" bust (34D/DD), 31" waist, 40" hips. I got a medium and it fits well with enough room to wear a big sweater underneath. Overall I'm very happy with the purchase - great price for a stellar winter coat. I've had several other Lole winter coats and keep coming back!!

This beautiful seems to be of excellent quality. It should last. The color in person is darker than I expected, more of a dark chocolate compared to photo. Not the best for me. I compared it to my old down coat (cloudveil) and stood outside with a thin layer to test. Western Montana about 25F. Though there is weight to coat, I could feel cool air seeping in. I get chilled easily so don't quote me on that. I need a warmer coat for 15 to 30F otherwise I wear other coats. Nice cuffs! Great deal too! Bit tight in shoulders if leaning forward but overall good fit.
