Lizard shins dsp 3.2mm
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Fit:
- True to size
Fat... Fat Fat.... There are cushy for sure, but the tape on the underside is minimal and should be wider to stick better. I feel like im using the old sponge type handle bar foam... They are comfy for sure, but because its fat, they are moving already and spreading out and i will have to re-wrap them again.

Very soft
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
Lizard skin is the only bar tape I use. When your riding 4,000 plus miles a summer you’ll appreciate the thickness. They are very grip for bar tape too. If your looking for comfort and quality, look no further.

Definitely avoid if your hand sweat even a little bit and you don't want to wear gloves. Comfortable and good looking though, just really hazardous.

Gets dirty really easily
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I bought this bar tape because of the popularity thinking I would get great service out of it, wrong! After installing about two weeks the tape is already showing dirt easily, my tape is the dark blue color. I definitely won’t be buying this tape again.

I second Lynn's comment. Clean with alcohol and you'll be good. Keeps it clean and maintains that tactile grip. I've been running strictly the 3.2mm tape for about 6 years across 8 bikes without issue.

the instructions say to clean it with Alcohol. The tape does get dirty but any brand of tape I have used gets dirty. I have had Lizard Skins on my bikes for years and had really good results.
