A roomy saddle bag for big rides.
Ride across remote stretches of country with everything you need to perform simple repairs with the Lizard Skins Cache Saddle Bag. This mid-sized saddle bag offers ample room for a spare tube, multi-tool, tire levers, wallet, spare cash, and keys. The zippered main compartment has an internal divider for organizing equipment. Water-resistant fabric protects sensitive items from soaking showers and nasty weather. Amara synthetic leather prevents abrasion where the bag attaches to the seat, with a hook-and-loop strap securely attaching to your seat rails. Additionally, there's a reflective logo and webbing loop for attaching a light.

- Q & A
This strap Is not long enough to wrap an aero seat post. Worthless.
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Dimensions for this bag are:
3 x 10 x 5in.
Great little bag
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I was previously using a big and bulky Topeak bag - it could fit a ton of stuff in it, but was huge and flopped around a lot. While the medium sized Lizard Skins bag is much smaller, the fit is WAY better on my bike. Right now, I can fit the following contents:
1 large multitool (with chain breaker)
2 tire levers
1 spare tube (Continental Race Lite)
1 tire patch kit
3 Park tire boots
1 SRAM master link
With all of that in it, there's really nothing else going it it, except maybe some money or something. The fit on my bike is perfect, and extremely solid. I'm kind of bummed that I couldn't fit 2 tubes in it, but the patch kit should suffice in the event I get a second flat on the same ride. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.
Simple and it works
Cache = medium size. I'v made it hold 2x standard 700c inner tubes, 1x CO2, 1x multitool. Loosen the saddle rail straps and pack from the bottom up.
And my actual review...This may be a keeper, and I've gone through a lot of saddle bags to find one that's aesthetically cool and function properly. The Lizard Skins Cache fit both criteria, it's simple elegant with strong velcro to secure the bag to the bike with no noise going through rough roads.
Girlfriend of the year.
- Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
Got this for my partner's Ironman training. She doesn't mind that it's huge--in fact, she likes it, as that gives her extra space for multiple spare tubes and CO2 cartridges on 100-mile rides. It also means that, when we ride together, I can eschew saddle bags and don't have to carry tubes or CO2 in my jersey pockets because she's got it all. Who says chivalry is dead?
Is this big enough to hold an iPhone 7 Plus? (Approximately 3.25” x 6.4”)
Are there any pictures of the inside of this saddle bag to show the separation divider?
