The best things come in small packages, so it isn't surprising that the pint-sized Vis 180 Micro Light from Light & Motion kills it. It weighs just over 100g, fits easily in the palm of your hand, and provides 180 degrees of steady, flashing, and high-intensity visibility to help you stay safe on the road. The three modes are powered by a Cree LED bulb and lithium ion battery, which can be recharged via the included micro USB cable, and the Vis 180 attaches easily to your seatpost via a simple rubberized strap, which also allows for easy removal. The Vis' 25 lumens are bright enough to be seen from a distance, so cars won't be surprised by your presence, and the batter indicator light lets you know when it's time to recharge.

- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This is a great light but would be improved with a mount that stays on the bike so you don't have to undo the band each time you want to take the light off. With a mount you just clip and unclip the light. I realized what I was buying, but I'll go with one that has a mount next time
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
This light is super bright and easy to mount, it stays right were you put it, it does not move because of the rubber material. It is also very versatile because you can put it on the handle bar and nobody will notice that it is not the place where it supposes to be.
The best rear light
After seeing how well my Light & Motion Urban 200 improved my commute it was an easy decision to upgrade my rear light to the Light & Motion Vis 180 Micro. It is extremely bright, has excellent side visibility, and the high pulse mode puts it over the top. A no brainier for commuters.
Can this attach to a bag handle, or just a seat post?
This has a clip on the back that would attach to a loop on your bag.

I live in Seattle and was wondering if the light can be used in rain/light rain conditions.
Good news! This light is actually waterproof so you will be good to go!
