The Lib Tech Skunk Ape is made specifically for bigger riders looking to rip the entire mountain from park sessions, charging on groomers, to slashing seemingly endless powder. Sporting a wide waist width and longer lengths, these boards are built like a tank to have everything thrown at them while eliminating toe and heel drag and supporting the weight of heavier riders. A medium-stiff flex provides a stable and responsive ride for charging steep chutes while allowing you to perfect your surf-inspired style on groomers or in powder.

Starting with Mervin Manufacturing's C2 profile, the Skunk Ape sports a rockered section between the feet and camber extending from the contact points to the mounting inserts. This combination allows precise control and power while feeling catch-free and providing float in powder for the best days on the hill. Horsepower Construction includes a mix of poplar and paulownia wood in the core for a lightweight and lively feel, and a blend of triax and biax fiberglass that offers a smooth and consistent flex. Magne-Traction cuts into ice and chunder like a serrated knife for increased edge hold in any conditions, so you can charge hard without sliding out. Finally, a TNT extruded base is easy to repair and requires little maintenance, so you can head to the mountain without being left behind while you tune up your snowboard.
