MC Wayfinder Snowboard

Lib Tech's own Matt Cummins, who has been shaping boards for Lib Tech for over 30 years, used his extensive knowledge from Mt. Baker, Baldface, and Japan's famous powder to design the surfy and directional MC Wayfinder. This short, wide, and tapered board is intentionally sized down to retain the same surface area while increasing its agility though powder fields and deep tree runs alike. Not only does it rip powder, but it offers a short-contact sidecut for carving up low, surf-inspired turns on maintained groomer runs for increased fun on any day.

Starting with it's C2e profile, it includes a rocker zone between the feet for added float and forgiveness, while elliptical camber zones extend from under the bindings to the contact points to add power and pop when needed. The medium-stiff flex increases response while slashing deep snow and provides stability when getting nearly parallel with the ski slope during stylish carves. An extra-wide nose increases surface area up front to keep the tip of your snowboard afloat, and a large setback stance puts your weight on the rear to sink your tail in the deep stuff. Original Power Construction includes an aspen and paulownia wood core and a mix of triax and biax fiberglass wrap to create a lightweight, lively, and predictable ride. Magne-Traction edges increase edge hold on hardpack for additional grip during carving, and a sintered base is both durable and ultra-fast to keep your speed though soft snow and prevent from hiking out of waist-deep powder.
