All the information right at your fingertips.

Featuring a large 2.2-inch, 240 x 320 high resolution color screen with color graphics that help you quickly and easily identify specific data fields, the Lezyne Mega C GPS Bike Computer is jam-packed with tech features to help you get the most out of your ride. It pairs with any iOS or Android device through the free Lezyne Ally V2 app, and provides turn-by-turn navigation, Strava Live Segments, and phone notifications (incoming calls, texts and message app notifications) to help you stay connected in the middle of an all-day ride.

Among the many features of this computer, the Mega C GPS enjoys Glonass connectivity, ANT+, and a built-in barometer and accelerometer. It still connects to the GPS network and broadcasts via Bluetooth, but the added features make it even more effective. This is especially true of the barometer and accelerometer, which reduce the dead spots and wonky readings that occasionally result when a handheld device is communicating on a sub-meter scale with a positioning satellite some 12,550 miles removed from your handlebars. Elevation information comes to you in real-time, showing you descent, ascent, and current stats, while also keeping track of calories burned.

Additionally, the GPS device can be instantly customized through the app and it has on-screen preloaded maps, provides turn-by-turn navigation and off-line navigation. Further data can be viewed and recorded when paired with ANT+ or Bluetooth Smart enabled power meters, heart rate monitors and speed/cadence sensors. The device can also display electronic drivetrain info when paired with compatible shifting systems. And enable Lezyne Track to let friends and family follow along in real-time while out on a ride. Data recording is highly accurate through the use of GPS/GLONASS, a barometer and an integrated accelerometer. It has a class leading runtime of 32 hours and a whole lot more.

Lezyne Ally V2 also keeps tabs on Strava segments, displaying live updates on the Mega C GPS when you're on the hunt, and it autosyncs with Strava and other popular third party sites like TrainingPeaks. Even without a smartphone, the Micro GPS reads, displays, and records ANT+ and Bluetooth broadcasts from heart rate monitors, power meters, cadence sensors, and whatever other ancillaries you've got hanging on your frame or body. Up to 800 hours of this data is stored within the computer, which runs on its lithium-polymer battery for up to 32 hours. You can also toggle between km and miles in the menu, which eliminates the need to decipher multi-language manuals or perform complex button hold maneuvers in order to check your trip distance in metric terms. The housing of this computer is incredibly weather-resistant to keep up with your rides under uncertain skies, while the X-Lock mount provides a secure, stable attachment that holds firm on bumpy roads.

Nothing but trouble

From my sensor review that includes this computer-- Set up was a pain and it would not pair even when within distance specs. The computer also had issues and had to be sent back which resulted in better pairing, however, it appears that water got into the battery (it's on my MTB) and now it only pairs the cadence but not speed. Lyzene got 5 stars for customer service on replacing the computer, which I am now having issues with connecting to my computer, but says that they are out of the sensor and will not replace. REALLY! Sending everything back for a refund.

Reliable, Intuitive, and Well-Priced

I've used it several times

I previously owned the Lezyne Macro GPS (conspicuously not marketed as "enhanced") and had a lot of trouble with dropped bluetooth connections. As you'd imagine, dropping sensors defeats much of the purpose of the device. To their credit, Lezyne customer service worked hard try to resolve the problem (even sharing a firmware beta) to no avail. To their even greater credit, they provided the Mega C as a warranty replacement. The larger, multicolor screen is not real enhancement in my mind. A hair less legible if anything. But the inclusion of glonass, a barometer, and most importantly ANT+ make the Mega C a winner. Never drops a sensor connection and handles navigation smoothly and logically. In addition, a particular steel covered bridge near here is known to occasionally confuse GPS devices; the addition of Glonass appears to have solved that problem (knocking on wood). The barometer is a neat feature, too, though Strava generally adjusts elevation gains upward a bit after a ride. At this point, Lezyne ticks all the boxes for a serious head unit. It keeps up with my PowerTap hub, HR monitor, and phone. It navigates and corrects intuitively and clearly. And it uploads straight to Strava with no fuss at all, usually before I've removed my shoes. Moreover, it ticks all those boxes at a fantastic price point. Leave the bigger brands to their duopoly and give the Lezyne a try. Put your savings into something nice for the bike!
