Tighten up or get your walkin' shoes on.

If you don't tighten your pedals, they'll slowly work themselves out and strip your crank arm's pedal threads on the way. We wouldn't wish that experience on anyone, so pick up a Lezyne Classic Pedal Rod Pedal Wrench. It'll help you get those pesky pedals in there good and tight.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

When it comes to working on pedals with 15mm flats I love this tool. It gives you all the leverage you need to crank it down or take it back off. But now most of my pedals have a 6 or 8 mm hex key so it would be nice if this tool had those attachments as well. I know the BBQ tool is out there, but it’s firmly out of my price range even though I do love Abbey Tools. But when it comes to the Lezyne, it’s a great tool. I just wish more pedals would still have the wrench flats so I could use it. It is pretty big, but that gives lots of leverage. Plus, who doesn’t enjoy a good beverage while they work in the shop?

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

It's great for the shop - or to keep under your car seat when your in a sketchy neighborhood. Certainly does the trick in terms of tightening pedals - you can really lean into it.

This thing is goofy if you ask me. the handle is super big and round, making it a terrible option if you need a wrench to pack up for road trips. If you just want something unique to hang on the shop wall though, it should fit the bill. And the bottle opener will likely offer some convenience at some point in the shop as well. Only giving it 2 stars because it's simply not a very logical tool to have compared to the alternatives.
