The ABS1 Pro is an update over the classic Lezyne ABS Flip-Thread Chuck system. The upgraded 90° design allows the chuck to be more easily installed and removed on valves. It's highly durable construction is built with precision machined aluminum and composite matrix materials and a robust brass swivel. The chuck quickly transforms from Presta to Schrader valves by unthreading the head, flipping it, and rethreading to the chuck. The head then threads onto the valve for superior engagement and no leaking. A bleeder valve is present so you can dial in the pressure for the day's ride. An integrated Presta valve core wrench provides easy valve core tightening or removal for replacing faulty valves, tubeless sealant injection, or to increase airflow to seat pesky tubeless beads. The high-volume version for mountain bike tires and the high-pressure for road tires. Compatible with Lezyne pumps.
- Pump chuck for Presta and Schrader valves
- Durable materials are made to last
- Integrated Presta valve core wrench is always where you need it

NOT compatible with all Lezyne pumps
I ordered this as a replacement air chuck for my Lezyne floor pump. After carefully reading the product description to ensure that it will fit, I determined it would work on my Lezyne floor pump as was stated in the product description provided by Backcountry that "Compatible with Lezyne pumps." It didn't fit, different size hose. I contacted Backcountry Customer Service and their solution was to sell me the correct fitting hose for an additional $19. Please add in the description that your pump might have a different sized hose and confirm that prior to ordering. See photo that shows the smaller hose fitting on the Lezyne ABS-1 Pro Chuck compared to mine. Too bad because it looks to be an improvement from my old air chuck.

Best Pumps Available!
You cannot beat the quality of Lezyne pumps and accessories. The attention to detail and engineering on the pump heads is incredible. I have had the same pump for 3 years and use it about every weekend. I am just now getting the new upgraded style pump head to freshen up the floor pump for the summer!

Works with Lezyne Steel Drive Floor Pump
Got this to replace to broken valve on my Lezyne Steel Drive Floor Pump and so far it's working perfect. It was super easy to attach to the pump and it seems much more durable than the old valve.

Great new design
Lezyne has improved upon the old chuck by leaps and bounds with this one. The previous 1/4 turn to lock feature is no more... thankfully. The new design is so much more simple and effective. Simply flip the nozzle around for schrader or presta screw on and pump up your tire.

Can this be connected to an air compressor somehow? How?
December 12, 2018
With the right hose and connectors you could in theory hook this up to an air compressor but you'll need to get creative. I'd suggest checking with your local hardware store for the fittings you'd need.

I have an ABS 2 and the chuck broke. It looks pretty similar to this chuck. Can I purchase this to fix my ABS 2?

Yes you can. I have the same pump, and both these heads.

What's so unique about this chuck that there needs to be one for HV and HP? I just bought the lezyne pressure overdrive came across these chucks.

Hello Tim, The high volume is drilled differently than the high pressure, as well as the seals that they include allowing them to perform optimally to their respective discipline. With the HP having smaller holes drilled, it allows the pump to regulate air pressure appropriately making it easier to force air pressure into the tire. I hope this helps a little, and please feel free to reach out to ZFoley@CompetitiveCyclist.com with any additional questions!

How does it connect to an air supply?
