Hopefully by the time we're too old to hike, the Leki Traveller Carbon Trekking Pole will look beyond well-traveled. These carbon poles weigh less than 14 ounces per pair, and their telescoping design packs down when the trail isn't too technical—or when we're flying to or from our walking holiday. The handle is made of cork to customize to our hand's contours for an extremely comfortable grip, and it's coupled with Leki's innovative Trigger S 2.0 strap for an ergonomically correct grip that protects our wrists while the poles help us maintain our balance and take pressure off our joints.

Two drawbacks, had to return
Although I wanted to like these sticks (they are ultra-light), I returned them. The handles were too small in diameter, forcing you to hold them with an uncomfortable, tight grip (and my hand is not large). I also dislike the straps. They felt dangerous as you couldn't slip out of them quickly - they are designed with a funnel-like shape, and you have to pull apart the velcro before you can get them off. It felt dangerous to me.

Comfortable and great for city walking
I use these walking around the neighborhood and they work great walking on asphalt and concrete. The hand grip is very comfortable to use and they seem like they will be durable. I’m very happy with my purchase,

Silky Smooth, Inspiring and Balanced
Absolutely love, love, love these poles, from the grip, strap, locks, and tip. The weight and balance feel perfect. These poles feel like a changer for me, and constantly inspiring me to make little corrections to my technique. And the purchase/customer service has been great!! Thank you so much, Leki!!!!!
