Take the sting out of the trail.
Cut your knees some slack by hiking with Leki's Legacy Women's Trekking Poles. Their adjustable aluminum shafts make it easy to get the perfect length, and the simple Super Lock System adjustment supports up to 300 pounds, letting you lean on it hard without worrying that it will collapse. Leki's PAS Thermo rubber grip and adjustable strap provide secure and comfortable support for your hand, while the carbide tip won't slip on rocks and the low-profile basket won't sink into mud or get stuck on rocks, roots, and branches.

Lightweight and durable!
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
I purchased these hiking poles for my mom for a recent southern Utah hiking trip, she loved them. Unfortunately for her, she left them behind and now I have given trekking poles a try for the first time and love them too! They are easy to collapse quickly and throw into a backpack and then grab back out and adjust to hiking length. I noticed my neck and shoulders were much less sore after a couple days of long hikes and my fingers didn't get swollen like they usually do on longer hikes. I would recommend ordering the rubber tip accessory if you plan to be hiking on rocky surfaces.
They are lightweight, affordable, and seem very sturdy!
Easy to use
I bought these for my mom so that she can hike with the family. They're super great, sturdy and fit in a pack. She loves them and now she can keep up with us!!
Sturdy, easy to use, can fit in suitcase
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Here's the deal... Some days I feel my age and knees get creaky. And we planned to hike into Pololu Valley on the Big Island on vacation. Since I am not as graceful as you'd think, I wanted trekking poles for a little support on the steep, rocky, muddy trail. And I knew I would use them on many other hikes in Hawaii and at home.
I picked the Leki Legacy trekking poles because Leki is a good brand, the poles were adjustable and could fit in our suitcase, and price was great. They did not disappoint! FWIW they are a pair of left and right handed poles, easily adjustable to the right height, very sturdy, comfy to hold onto--sweaty hands did not slip, and they look great! As we neared the bottom of the trail, a guy coming back up said "Great planning with the poles! Wish I'd thought of that!!" And he grumbled his way back up the trail.
I would definitely recommend even for those flat trail and non-creaky knee days. Wish I had gotten them a long time ago!
