6.0 3DF Knee Guard

The thought of wearing bulky, restrictive traditional knee pads is enough to make any mountain biker cringe—but then again, so is the thought of bashing your knee in the dirt without any protection. Luckily, Leatt has a solution in the form of the 6.0 3DF Knee Guard. It's built with a flexible and breathable 3DF impact foam that lets you pedal comfortably, but still soaks up harsh impacts. Hard shell sliders on the front padding add extra impact- and abrasion-resistance, and foam padding on the sides offers added coverage without restricting movement. Breathable MoistureCool and AirMesh fabrics wick sweat and disperse moisture to help you stay drier and cooler while you ride, and non-slip adjustable straps and silicone grip lining prevent any unwanted slipping or shifting so you never have to slow down.

  • Soft, flexible knee pad for mountain biking protection
  • 3DF impact foam is soft and pliable for mobility
  • Co-molded hard shell sliders offer additional protection
  • MoistureCool and AirMesh fabrics wick sweat and breathe well
  • Silicone grip lining prevents slipping and shifting
  • Non-slip leg straps allow adjustable fit
  • Side impact protection for more complete coverage
  • Pre-curved 3D design for ergonomic fit and mobility

I recently ordered a bunch of different pads in order to update my protection game. The Leatt pad is very well made and I really wanted to like them but it just seemed I was in compatible with the sizing. Seriously how can s/m and l/xxl offer the ranged needed. According to the size chart i was at the small end of the large and after tying them on they where simply to loose around the knee, the calf and i felt the top would simply pull down in a crash. Guess I should have read the other reviews that said order a size down. So I ordered a set in medium to try. The fit was better, still felt a bit loose around the knee but the top was just a bit to tight and if i was to pedal it would feel like it was pinching my skin. I did a little research and they do offer great protection EN1621-1 level 1 is the actual certification. I returned both sizes and went with another pad we offer that fit better and had a EN1621-1 Level 2 protection. Sorry Leatt, I love my neck brace but just couldn't get on board with these pads.

Comfortable, cool, and you can ride all day with them. However, you need to go one size down otherwise you’ll be pulling them up constantly while riding. It will be tight at first don’t worry they will stretch out over time.

Another great performing LEATT product

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I bought these to replace some worn out Fox pads, I work as a Bike park patroller in the East and have put long, sweaty (rainy, muddy, etc) DH days on these pads: they fit wonderfully , are extremely comfortable and don't slide around at all even when hiking or lugging an injured rider off a remote trail. Pretty consistent with every Leatt product I've used. Also, dealing with Backcountry was a snap, from ordering to delivery, everything is always handled quickly and professionally.

Is this price for a pair of knee guards or just one knee guard?

If i measure right inbetween a s/m and l/xl what should i go for

Hello, I would go with the larger size. Or if you want to order both and try them both on to see which one fits better we can send you a return label to return one of them once you figure out the best size for you. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to contact us by chat or phone at 800-409-4502.

Go S/M, these run large and stretch out with use
