Details

Camping is better with comfy feet.

La Sportiva's Women's Thunder III GTX Hiking Boot has the perfect blend of rigidity and comfort for short backpacking trips, so you have the support you need, but still have life left in your feet to do some extra exploring when you get to camp. With a molded rubber heel and steel shank added to the insole, you get plenty of stability for hauling your pack. Meanwhile, the nubuck leather upper and Gore-Tex lining offers plenty of protection from the elements. The Vibram sole will last over miles of variable terrain, and thanks to La Sportiva's own Impact Brake System with opposing lugs you'll be able to hit the brakes fast when that skunk surprises you on the trail.

Great arch support

  • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
  • Fit: True to size

Got this for my mom. Finding the right boot turned out to be a challenge. After about ordering 3 pairs, she settled with these. They had the right amount of arch and ankle support for her short hikes in the foothills of the Wasatch.
