Shadow Alpine Touring Boot
Power your way up tall snowy peaks and crush steep descents on the way down in your La Sportiva Women's Shadow Alpine Touring Boots. These versatile tech boots blend uphill efficiency and downhill prowess so you can tackle tough objective and leave the boys in the dust on your way down.
The aggressive 125 flex suits the hard-charging lady whose mouth waters at the sight of gnarly spines and pillow drops. The Grilamid shell and Pebax tongue keep the weight down on these kicks, while remaining stiff and responsive for powerful descents. The 50-degree range of motion lets you stride confidently and efficiently as you cruise up the skinner, and Vibram soles keep you upright while you're picking your way through a labyrinth of steep rocks on your approach.

I looked for a long time for a women’s boot that was both stiff and walkable and now after three years in the Shadow I recommend it to anyone who will listen. Great for “normal” feet, runs true to size (with a roomy toe box that’s great for touring), easy to transition between walk and ski mode, and I love a three-piece boot (more progressive flex and easier to get on). I only stopped touring with these boots to upgrade to their lighter siblings the Stellar, and now use these as resort boots, and somehow they’re stiff enough to drive a ski inbounds too. Buy these boots.

I just purchased and returned this boot. It was going to be a present for my daughter for Christmas. i shopped forever on Black Friday and ended up with this boot. Once it arrived I was delighted by the color and weight of the boot. However, the plastic on the buckles appears to be so flimsy that I am sure they would break trying to buckle them in cold weather. Im moving on to a more expensive boot and unfortunately wasted a lot of time on this one. One more thing, reviews showed it was designed for a wider foot. .... I wouldnt count on that.
