    The alpine is calling.

The La Sportiva Women's Nepal Cube GTX Mountaineering Boot was designed and built for long days spent on the glacier and early mornings climbing a combination of vertical ice and rock. This lightweight single boot is ideal for all but the world's highest peaks, and features a Gore-Tex Insulated Comfort insert for waterproof and breathable performance and cozy comfort in cold alpine climates.

The tough upper is composed of Sportiva's Idro-Perwanger leather upper, which is silicone-impregnated for added protection from moisture, and it's reinforced with a full-wrap rubber rand to protect the boot from front point shrapnel. Underfoot, the Nepal Cube is fitted with a low-profile Carbon Tech honeycomb insulated footbed to add warmth while still maintaining a stiff feel for secure climbing. The PU midsole with toe and heel welts accommodate step-in crampons, while the aggressive Vibram sole offers rock-solid traction during the approach to the glaciated flanks of your objective.

Comfortable right out of the box

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Bought these boots right before a trip to the Alps. Super comfortable the first day and the rest of the trip. Roomy toe box and snug fit around the heel, so no blisters! I bought my usual size- did not size up. There was plenty of room for me to wear a sock liner and thick mountaineering sock. Very happy with this boot.

    Great for ice climbing

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These boots are perfect! I bought them half a size up from my regular Sportiva size because I have wide feet and they tend to run narrow and these are pretty stiff I figured they wouldn't really stretch much. They work so well! I climbed in them everyday for a week right after I got them and they were comfortable right out of the box but I still gave them a few days to break in. My feet stay completely dry and don't get too cold in them either. I'm used to rental boots and they never fit right and my feet would always freeze! I would 100% recommend these to everyone.

    Great boot

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Height: 5'0"
    • Weight: 105lbs

Fit true to size and comparably to other brands of mountaineering boots I've purchased. No complaints, they've worn well from day 1.

    Ready for Winter

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 39
    • Height: 5'5"
    • Weight: 120lbs

These are my first mountaineering boots and I am amazed at how comfortable they are straight out of the box. The toe box is roomy and can accommodate thicker socks if necessary. It does come up high but the ankle articulation keeps it somewhat flexible. The removable tongue makes the fit more comfortable as well as the sock lining at the top of the boot. I The snug fit will help keep the snow out. I am still breaking in the boots and have not worn them outside yet. I do however enjoy doing squats and push up in them! They keep your form amazing strong. I am looking forward to the winter in these boots. I wear a size 8, but found size 39 fit better than the 39.5
