Find your happy place on a big rock while wearing the climb-it-all Mythos.

Tighten the around-the-heel lacing system of the La Sportiva Women’s Mythos Climbing Shoe and get an all-around, precise fitting shoe for climbing any rock in the canyon. The soft, unlined leather upper surrounds your foot with enough stretch to allow foot swelling during long multi-pitch routes, while the perforated arch and Dry-Best lined tongue help wick and vent excess foot sweat as you climb. For long belays and rests on big walls, the full-length LaspoFlex midsole adds strength and cushioning so you can reenergize before the crux. The Mythos’s medium-curved shape, pointed toe, and excellent edges allow superior grip on footholds of any shape or size thanks to the 4mm Vibram XS Grip2 outsole.

    She loves it!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Bought this pair for my girlfriend as it's her favorite pair of climbing shoes. They do stretch and it didn't take her very long to break them in. Since they're super comfy, it's her go-to pair on long multi-pitch days, slabs, and splitter cracks. She typically wears Women's 8.5 in sneakers and got a Women's 6.0 for the Mythos.

    Classic and Versatile

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I purchased these shoes for my girlfriend, who has recently been getting into climbing. I chose these shoes because they have been made and loved by many for the 20 or so years I have been climbing. A versatile shoe for beginners and experts alike.

    Beginner's Dream

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Man these shoes are comfy. I've been wearing them 2-4 times a week for the past two months as a newbie to indoor bouldering. The lace support around the ankles helps a LOT to secure the fit, you can tie them on snugly without heel slipping. As mentioned in some of the other reviews, the laces are pretty long but I just do a knotted loop after tying to keep them in place.

I typically wear a 6.5 in everyday shoes, 7 in sneakers, and ended up with a 36.5 in the Mythos. The leather has stretched a bit over time but there's no negative impact to comfort or fit. Highly recommend these, plus the mint is super cute!

    Fantastic Beginner Climbing Shoe

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 37.5
    • Height: 5'5"
    • Weight: 125lbs

I'm a relatively new climber. I don't climb indoors, just outdoors. When I initially bought climbing shoes, the guy at a local store talked me out of the Mythos and into some more technical shoes that fit painfully tight. I climbed in them a number of times and was super unhappy and in pain every time, and it definitely affected my climbing. I know climbing shoes aren't supposed to be comfortable but I was about ready to give up. I knew I'd be climbing the First Flatiron in Boulder this last weekend, so I ordered the Mythos last week. The First Flatiron is about 1000 ft of relatively easy climbing, 5.4-5.6 difficulty. I was a little nervous about wearing new shoes for an all day climb, but they were fantastic! Great grip, very comfortable. I felt a lot more comfortable on slab than I did in my other shoes. I ordered a 37.5 and I think they will be great as the laces make them adjustable through the entire length of the shoe and heel. I am generally a 6.5 in normal shoes, 7-7.5 in athletic shoes. I do think these run larger compared to other brands as my other climbing shoes (Scarpa) are 38s and those make me want to cry.

    Best for long days

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Height: 5'11"
    • Weight: 172lbs

The perfect long day trad shoe. I thought my other climbing shoes were comfy, but then I spent a week in these and it's so hard to go back to my normal gym shoes. When I'm going to be in my shoes all day, this is my go-to. I was reluctant to splurge on a second pair of climbing shoes, but my boyfriend has a pair and convinced me to try these on, and I can't believe I spent as many long days in uncomfortable shoes as I had. The leather is super soft plus the lacing set up makes for a perfect fit. Seriously worth the money!! Also, they're mint. Which is adorable.

    Comfortable and Flexible

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 140lbs

Comfy and flexible climbing shoe for slab or all day, long route wear. I wore them at Ten Sleep once because I forgot other shoes and everyone made fun of me but I still sent! :-P They stretch out a bit because of all the leather, so keep this in mind when buying!

    Fit low volume feet well

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Size Bought: 42
    • Height: 6'1"
    • Weight: 155lbs

I have low volume feet. The combination of the lace system which allows for all sorts of adjustments and the leather that stretched to fit my foot made these shoes fit perfectly.

I used to have to call sessions short because of downsized aggressive shoes, whereas these allow me to climb so much more with so much less pain. These work so well for me that I don't feel like experimenting with other shoes.

I fit into a 10.5 or 11 men's street shoe, got these in a Euro 42. After stretching, the leather on each side of the laces has drawn pretty close to being able to touch (in other words, they weren't far from stretching too much). I think as long as a size works in terms of length the rest will come to fit after just a few sessions. I will probably buy this shoe again. If comfort is a priority for you, these win.

    Comfort!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 37

I am a 8 in shoe size and the size 37 in La Sportiva was the perfect fit. They were very comfortable during my climb from the first time I put them on and I was extremely impressed with the grip I got with them. I highly recommend these.

Go one size down. Great trad/crack shoe

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Size Bought: 38.5
    • Height: 5'8"

I'm not going to spend time reiterating what everyone else has already established (and as is evidenced at your local crag), this is a great shoe for all-day climbing, trad, cracks, etc.

My other shoe is the Miura VS. I went one full size down (39.5 in Miuras, and 38.5 in these). I probably could have done a 38.0 as you can already tell these are going to stretch and my toes were comfy from the start. Luckily the laces make it easily to get a good fit while letting my toes stay happy :)

    Awesome slab shoes

I bought these shoes for a summer of long multi pitch climbs after hearing they were like comfy marshmallows. And they did not disappoint! Most comfortable pair of climbing shoes I've ever tried. I would recommend sizing down at least one size because they do stretch out quite quickly. I'm a size 8.5 US and sized down to a 7 and they fit nice and snug right out of the box.

      Awesome slab shoes

      Fav Trad shoe

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 39
      • Height: 5'8"
      • Weight: 125lbs

I've loved these shoes since I first bought the purple (men's) ones. The ladies edition features lower cut sides for my ankle bones, very comfy. I have a fairly narrow heel but a wide foot at the ball and these fit the bill. This is probably my 5th pair. I usually go for a toe down shoe for sport climbing, but these work pretty well for me if I forget to pack the sport specific shoe.

      Great Climbing shoes

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: 37
      • Height: 5'4"
      • Weight: 130lbs

It runs a bit large for me. I wear 37 in La Sportiva Solution Vibram XS Grip2 Climbing Shoe - Women's shoes. I suggest go half size down for this pair of shoes. Same rubber material as the solution, very grippy and comfortable for big wall climbing. Shoes lace is adjustable to better fit your feet shape.

      Will buy again, and again.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: Runs large

These shoes are insanely comfortable and allow you to hangout for hours in your shoes. You really cant go wrong with these. These were my first shoe and though I'm looking at trying out some other more aggressive shoes I will probably always keep a pair of mythos in the rotation.

Side note: These will really stretch out. I have had mine about ta year and a half and they are easily a size larger than when I bought them.

      Climbing Shoes are Comfy?!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: 36

I've gone through my fair share of climbing shoes over the years but I've never found ones that match the comfort of the mythos. My biggest problem has always been finding shoes that don't tear up my heals. The first time I put these on, they fit like a glove and I quickly realized that they wouldn't hurt my feet! They are great for all day wear, long multi-pitch climbs, or just a long gym session. I do wish that the rubber was more durable...I've eaten through my first pair in 5 months and am sending them in to get re-soled. Another thing to mention is that I think they run a bit large. I normally wear a 38 and ended up with a 36.

      MY FAVORITE

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: 35

These are my favorite trad climbing shoes. They are so comfortable I can wear them all day. They are great for cracks and for slab. Fantastic for long alpine routes! I never take them off. When I first started wearing them I wore them in the gym - don't make the same mistake! It wears the rubber out quickly, and is totally a waste for gym routes - I busted the toe in a couple of months! I'll drag them along if I want to do some gym cracks, but other than that I don't waste my awesome mythos rubber indoors!

Note that they stretch A TON. I end up downsizing 2 sizes! (With ZERO discomfort!!!)

I eventually gave up on my first pair, but now have 2 pairs that I've been switching between as I send them in for re-soles. :)

      MY FAVORITE

      So good

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size

These are just consistently the best. So comfortable that I can wear them all day without pulling them off after each climb. Great rubber and soft leather. These aren't the most aggressive shoe, so I have my Miuras for edging. I will continue to buy these. I wear 37's in all my La Sportivas and a 7/7.5 street shoe.

      Comfort all day long

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 38

I wear a size 9(40.5) running shoe but ordered small to accommodate stretch. I bought a 38 and after having them broken in I would maybe only go up another half size (38.5) if I had to get them again. I've had these for about two years now and I can just slide my foot in without too much finagling. These shoes are great for long days of climbing outside. Not the most ideal gym shoe but they are just so comfortable. I can tolerate leaving them on between routes. Great for smearing. I've only used these in gyms and in the Red River Gorge for single-pitch routes.

      Cant go wrong with these

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Bought them for all day climbing and cracks and they are very comfortable when sized right. The laces all the way down make them very adjustable and Ive always loved the edges on Sportivas
