Built to handle anything you want.

The new La Sportiva Women's Crossover 2.0 GTX Trail Running Shoe lets you transition from trail-running to snowshoeing and back again with ease. An airmesh and microfiber upper helps to maintain breathability, while still retaining the durability you need from a trail runner. A Gore-Tex Extended Comfort lining ensures that your feet stay dry and comfortable all day. The Frixion AT rubber sole gives excellent traction in anything from snow, to mud, and everything in between. As if all this wasn't enough, La Sportiva attached a water-repellent gaiter to really keep mud and snow from getting where it doesn't belong.

    Great stability for trail running

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great shoe for running on uneven surfaces, such as loose gravel.
It appears as though they will be a warm shoe for winter running - it's only gotten down to the 30's so far -
I would suggest buying at least a 1/2 bigger than normal size bought.

I bought two pair! Maybe three?

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I bought two pair of these because I LOVE them. They are warm and comfortable. I have been running all winter in Montana in these shoes. With the subtle ankle support from the gaiter, I may use them in summer, too. They are pricey, but I may buy a third pair because I hate how the shoe companies change the models every year. What do you think of that???

    Perfect fit!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These shoes are everything I need! I was looking for a shoe that I could wear in the winter for trail running and snowshoeing and would also be a great hiking shoe as well. These are the do it all shoe I was searching for. They fit true to size, are very comfortable, and required no break in!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 40.5
    • Height: 5'2"
    • Weight: 110lbs

These were exactly what I was looking for... a water proof trail running shoe that would take me from the trail head up to the snow covered peak. I wore these today for the first time. They required no break-in time. It was a 6hr outing. I was able to kick steps in the snow with ease, and they worked great with microspikes. My feet were perfectly warm over the snow. I would not wear these in the summer though, I feel they would be too warm.

    Warm for those winter months

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I grabbed a pair of these midway through last winter. They fit great, and at really comfortable and warm. The snow stayed out thanks to the gaiters. They stayed in excellent shape and I am actually looking forward to pulling them back out this season.

    Unanswered Question

Has anyone used these during summer months? Looking for a new backpacking shoe and like the built in gaiter, but wondering if will be too warm during summer months.
