Fantastic Coat!!!

This a great all around coat. I'm a contractor and was looking for something that I could layer under, was still tough, and looked great. This did it. I'm 6' 3" and 220lbs and ordered a XXL, which was perfect. In North Face, I wear XL, but I've always worn XXL in Kuhl due to the sportier cut.

I got a M and I am 6 feet and 170 pounds and this jackets fits on the longer side compared to my other jackets from Patagonia or arcteryx. I think that is by design and it has a little bit of room which is nice because I can wear sweaters and layer under this without it feeling tight like some of my other jackets. The outer shell is a nice departure from the goretex shells I usually get and I prefer this look. The down layer inside provides a nice amount of warmth as well. Plenty of well placed pockets that are large enough to hold the biggest phones. I would definitely recommend.

Narrow hips

5'8 155lbs.. ordered a large. Unlike many Kuhl jackets, the arms were not like socks.. ie. could layer underneath. My hips measure 42" (waist 34") Official measurements for a L says 43-45", but even with the bottom fully extended (ie. not cinched) it was tight enough that I feared it would become an issue. I definitely did not feel like I had the 3" of margin suggested by the official sizing. Perhaps on someone with a taller torso the jacket would ride towards the waist and not the hips. Seemed like a nice jacket other than that.
