Great shirt - misleading description

This isn't really a wool shirt in the typical sense of the word - it's a tech shirt with merino blend fabric. The fit in my experience isn't at all what is shown pictures - it is true to size but runs pretty tight. With that said, it's excellent otherwise. The waffle weave of the fabric give a very nice hand and adds abrasion resistance and spandex like stretch to typically fragile merino. The shoulders are reinforced for backpack use. I've been using it at home during the covid quarantine and find that it is very stain and pull resistant.
