This is by far my favorite shirt for almost everything. I have it in many different colors, If I could I would only wear this shirt for the rest of my life. It's soft, a little stretchy, and fits great. It's comfortable in pretty much any temperature below 75-80 degrees. I use it as a base layer or as a casual, every day shirt. The one main thing to consider this shirt is that it is merino wool, so it should be air-dried, if not the fabric will break down sooner than you'd like.

Good shirt

Nice shirt, heavy base layer warmth. Awesome color and mobility for climbing. Still not sure why they put thumb loops in it though.

Great sweater - warm when wet

Wore this on a recent rainy backpacking trip in the White Mountains, in the low 30's at the top - even soaked with sweat it kept me warm. Seemed to dry quickly too which was nice.

Not Merino wool

I ordered this produce because I bought one in a store and I liked it, they had none left and I wanted a black one. I ordered two here and they are for sure not merino wool. they are fake in my opinion and in no way come close to the store bought one. I am very disappointed

Comfortable and great weight

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

True to size

Quality product that fits well and is very versatile. I don't care for the thumb holes, but they are optional and don't obviously get in the way or look odd when not in use. Comfortable in a wide variety of temperatures.

I assume this is not machine washable?

Merino wool is actually machine washable, just make sure you're using cold water.
