Love these shorts.

Familiarity:
I've used it several times
Fit:
Runs small
Size Bought
38 and 40 waist
Height

I have a hard time finding shorts that hang below my knees, these do the trick fantastically. Usually wear 38 waist, and these were a bit more snug than i like, but will keep them for work shorts. The 40 in fit great. will be getting more of these down the road. Extremely comfortable to wear at work and casually.

you can say these pants are very Kuhl. used them on multiple hikes, and daily life. super breathable during hot summers. are very comfortable during hikes. they do run smaller

I bought a few of these about a year a go or so and they fit great, these ones same size, and model and they run considerably smaller, i woudl even say about 2 sizes smaller (a good inch) when layed flat ontop of another. I would expect that these types of pants would at least maintain the same sizing over time but looks like its not happening. I still fit but not as loose as i like

Got these shorts to get ready for spring and summer coming up. I like the relaxed fit and two way stretch with the articulated knees gives these shorts an awesome range of movement for hiking or climbing. I'm looking forward to using them more often while out bouldering this spring.

Excellent Shorts

I got these shorts for normal use, however they seem like they would work very well for hiking and other exercises. They breath well but still feel durable. At first I was concerned that the pockets might be too small, but they are actually rather large. I would definitely recommend these to others.

so I've had some issues with Kuhl on and off due that their sizing and molds for shorts and pants tend to vary from time to time. I'm usually and XL and have had great track record with not destroying them given the absolute horrible things i put them through, from work pants, to riding pants, hiking shorts you name it. These however provide the perfect amount of stretchy and comfortable awesomeness, they finally fit true to size and so far look awesome, they have a metric load of pockets which is all in all super handy... 7/7 would recommend anyday. worth saying i bought 4 pairs in diff colors

This review is on Backcountry. com rather than the krux short. Backcountry.com has become my go to gear shop due to their outstanding customer service ! Within an hour of placing my order, I received a call from costumer service Rep Justin R. , who was making sure my order was in order. (Pun intended) Justin was very positive and helpful in making sure my dealings with backcountry.com was a pleasant one. I have never experienced this level of customer support in my life ! But wait ! It gets better ! Justin actually apologized because my order was not supposed to arrive until the following Monday since I was ordering late Thursday. To my surprise, my order arrived on Saturday, a full two days ahead of schedule ! To top it off, backcountry even tossed in a $35 gift card for hellofresh ! Thank you backcountry.com ! Thank you Justin R. ! You guys keep this up and you'll have a customer for life ! To any of you skeptics out there, just buy something from these guys and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I have two pair of the older krux 3/4 shorts that I absolutely love so when my oldest pair ripped, I immediately ordered another pair, not realizing Kuhl had discontinued the krux short. When my new renegade krux 3/4 shorts arrived, I noticed right away a difference in material texture so I checked the label and sure enough, the renegade krux is mostly a nylon material whereas the older krux has more cotton blend. The new shorts are pretty much identical to the old in appearance and fit, comfortable as all get out too. I just hope the materials selection is due to durability and not a cost cutting measure. Time will tell and I'll write a follow up review once I get some serious miles on these shorts.

This is my 2nd pair of Kuhl shorts and they rock. I really am liking the 3/4 length although I'm 6'1" and got the 34" waist. They were perfect for me and my long(er) legs but could see shorter people possibly having an issue. My only 2 comments are as follows... the Velcro that holds the back pocket is super sticky and it can be interesting to get my wallet in and out of these shorts.. .that being said.. I like the added security so don't change anything there. My other comment is I find the front pockets to always spill my change out and down my seat when I'm driving my truck. I nice mod/change would be to stitch in a catch seam so this doesn't happen... the change literally just flows out of my pocket when I'm sitting down (but only in my truck). No problems when sitting on normal chairs/stuff. My other Kuhl shorts did this as well. Still give them a 5 star and highly recommend.

Light material. These are great for those with long thighs. Great construction with suit pant second latch at the fly. Well thought out pockets with zipper pockets for valuables, cell phone pocket as well. Fit was spot on. I've already ordered a second pair I like them so much. Own lots of brands but these shorts in particular made me a fan of Kuhl.

Kuhl has long been one of my favorite clothing companies, so I was disappointed when I found out that they were discontinuing the Krux. They have provided a good replacement, however, with the introduction of the Krux-length Renegade, based on their ever popular Renegade shorts. While the regular Renegade shorts have a 12-inch inseam, these have a 16-inch inseam; long enough to cover the knees, but still short and comfortable enough to wear mid-summer when temperatures are high.

Hey Steven, great eye! Glad you were able to hunt these down as the replacement for trusty Krux shorts. We have since added that "3/4" designation to our title to help more people find these who are after that elusive over-the-knee length. Same great concept, merged with the very popular fit and design of their Renegade line of shorts and pants. Cheers.
