Love the pants. Comfortable. Water resistant. Ample pockets. I use them as work pants. While they are functional, they are also stylish in my opinion. Quality you expect from Kuhl.

Fit According to Sizing

Just got my new Kuhl convertible cargo pants. Have only gotten to pull them on to check sizing and my 33/32s were a good fit for my 5’10” 170lb frame including in the seat which is comfortable without being baggy. Look is great, too. Excited to start wearing them. (I’m only giving a 4 rating because I haven’t tested them out but so far they are as advertised.)

I trusted the reviews saying they ran small and went a size up. Mistake, get the size you wear. They are amazing pants none the less. Definitely getting another pair.

Very small zippered pocket

I bought these pants for international travel and expected to be able secure my phone in the zippered front pocket, but it is much too small for the average phone. More designed as a money pocket I guess. Also, as others have said, the fit is snug. I would have had to move up one waist size larger than my normal fit if I had kept these.

VERY BIG!

They are extremely baggy. Not custom fit as shown in the picture. Could nearly fit two legs in one pant leg. Nothing special for $100. Was really looking forward to them, oh well

Failure free one use

I got what I expected

The pants performed well. Last weekend I tested out my new pants on a 13 mile hike. There was enough change in terrain to test out the water repellent capabilities and comfort in climbing. I have athletic legs from a lot of running and hiking and the thighs fit fine throughout the entire hike. I wore the pants on the way up, and shorts on the way back. They fit well both ways. My note 10 cell fit well in the upper pocket. My keys started poking my thigh through the mesh pocket so I moved them to the cargo pocket. I like the greenish khaki color. I am looking forward to using them on my Cactus to Clouds hike later this year. These pants are the best combination of deep pockets and roomy thighs.

Too tight in the thighs

I wear Levi's 559 32x34 and I purchased a 32x34 in these as well. Waist was a little tight but a 33 would probably be perfect. Biggest problem was when sitting. The zipper chokes up around the thighs. Obviously the zipper won't stretch so it turns into a tourniquet. I do a lot of squatting so your mileage may vary. My old TNF convertibles were cut roomier but it seems like the world is moving towards dudes having twigs for legs.

Poor waist snaps

The snap on the waist if of poor quality and keeps opening. However the snaps on the pockets and ankle cuffs are very sturdy and do not come undone. How about putting those on the waist instead? Seems like a no brainer.
