It runs a little bit large, but the materials and design is fantastic. The style makes it very adaptable to different conditions. You have a lot of pockets to store all your hiking needs!

Great for work and play. Nice fabric and looks great on. Vents may be a little over kill but better to have to much than to little.

Very well designed...just enough pockets in just the right sizes, and very comfortable. It's hard to find shorts with a pocket that fits and protects sunglasses/reading glasses-but these do the trick. I also prefer the 8 inch inseam, which is more comfortable for extended periods of walking/hiking /climbing. Very few brands seems to make that size for the US market.

With the Kuhl Air Vent system these shorts are not only perfect for a summer hike, but a day around town. Tons of pockets to carry your wife's driver's license and Burt's Bees as well as your keys to the Subi, phone and wallet. Solid gusseted construction to give you plenty of stretch were you need it the most!
