Strange fit

This is very large in the shoulders and chest and narrow in the hips. I wish I were configured that way, but I'm pretty much the opposite. I had to return it. It's attractive and well made, though, if you're built that way.

I am 5"4, 118 and the small was HUGE. Also, the pockets were way too long. Unfortunately this had to go back. Seemed very warm though!

I bought this parka for my wife, who is *always* cold, until now! She was sure that no coat was going to keep her warm on winter nights, and is happy to be proven wrong. She loves this coat!

Such a warm, good-looking coat. There are some other high-end brands out there that everyone is wearing these days, but I like this coat even more than them despite being $300-$500 less. It's works so well in extreme temps, super comfy, stylish and not everyone has it. Well made. I get compliments every time I wear it.

Perfection!

I did not buy this coat from backcountry.com, however I feel compelled to write a review for people considering buying it. Never until now have I found a coat that keeps me warm in southern MN winters. I bought this as I get SO cold walking my dog even short distances and hate having to warm up my car for 15 mins just to be able to tolerate getting in it. The coat is extremely well made, flattering (drawstring), and again WARM! It zips up nice and high to cover your lower face and the hood is also down filled and warm. I got the two toned brown and tan one. Not worried about light color as it is machine washable....another bonus. Never would I consider paying this much for a coat, but I have three others that I can't wear for my purposes during the winter as they aren't' warm enough. This is a classic and will never go out of style either! Well done! My first experience with the Kuhl brand, and I'll be back! Oh and I got and XS. I am 5 ft 1 and 98 lbs. It is a tad long on me in the body but definitely not a deal breaker!

Can I treat this periodically with wax myself? What is the temperature rating?
